All staff were very pleasant and friendly. The gentleman setting up the breakfast was outstanding! He kept everything well stocked and clean and was very kind and polite and went out of his way to ask everyone if they needed anything or if they needed help. I hope the hotel tips him behind the scenes. Maybe you could put a sign up or a tip jar? He did a GREAT job and should be compensated properly as food wait staff.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff was so helpful and considerate and that is so important because those are the first people who set the tone for the weekend. The gentleman who ran the breakfast was so nice and friendly and kept the breakfast opened a little longer because we did not realize that there was one and we had a late start. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the room was a great size. I already booked for Parent's weekend. I will continue to book there because my kids go to JMU and it's location is close to campus and their apartments.

Unfortunately I left my new iPad in the room when we left. I followed up with a call several hours later and they found it and kept it for me to pick up on my return trip. The two young men at the front desk were more than delightful - efficient, courteous and humorous.

We loved the warm welcome we received from Wendy, the excellent location just near the highway and across the street from restaurants and the above average breakfast.

The front desk person was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We had requested extra regular coffee in our room( no decaf) but it wasn't in the room. She had it ready for us when we got back from dinner.

I really like how the receptionist had all of the rooms already designated before our arrival. She just looked in a folder and pulled out our reservations and handed us our keys. We were on our way in lest than 2 minutes

The nice, big fridge and extra clean bathroom were my favorite things! The bed was okay...I always prefer more pillows than a hotel offers, but that's just a personal thing. The breakfast was pretty good...the eggs were cold, but one of the employees came out to apologize for that, once he realized the warmer wasn't turned on.
